Although you may not think it, there is more to music than The Sunshine Underground! Hard to believe, I know. Talk about it here. Recommendations, rants, raves...you know the score.

2010

What we looking forward to then in this first year of a new decade?

Personally:

TSU - album and gigs (obv)
The Music - potential for gigs although knowing them the next album will be years off!
Liam Gallagher's new band/new version of Oasis - I was going to say to hear how terrible it's going to be but having heard Andy Bell's back on guitar, bring it on!!
Noel Gallagher solo stuff - been waiting for years. He might be too lazy to bother though knowing Noel.
Exit Calm - album, they sound like early to A Northern Soul era Verve which cannot possibly be a bad thing.
Lowline - album.
BRMC - new album and tour

I'm sure there's plenty I've missed off, that's not bad for starters though!

Hurrrr....

Well TSU album and Manchester gig for sure.
The 44 new, free tracks that Smashing Pumpkins are kindly letting us have. Got one already. And the opportunity to get them in box sets.
Glastonbury.
Green Day at Wembley Stadium
Blood Red Shoes Manchester gig and new album.

I'll add to the list when I can.
Look what you've done to yourself.

Great shout on Exit Calm pal - I saw them at V last year - they opened the same tent as TSU were in at 12.15 and the lead singer's first words were "Is anyone on our level?" and then launched in to epic psychadelic awesomeness. Shame I'd only had a few Carlings at that point!

I've not had the joy of seeing them live yet but I've only had good reports. Everytime they seem to come round our way I always seem to be skint or already have plans but hopefully get to see them soon enough. All the tunes I've heard so far are right up my street though.

If you love the Verve and seen them, you'll love Exit Calm. All the tunes blow up live into a wall of sound. Quality
