Ok, so it's been a while since I last came on here... probably around 2005/6 if i'm honest. So long that the forum wouldn't let me in without re-registering

It's not that I haven't been following the band. Just that I've plenty of mates to go to gigs with that I didn't get too involved with the boardie meet ups and drunken nights out. But now I find myself abandoned (can you hear the sad music in the background???!) and am coming down to Derby on Friday for the Venue gig, and find myself on my lonesome due to a couple of mates (who live there!) backing out of the gig.

Yes, I could sit in the pub Billy no-mates til doors, but with fellolw TSU bods in the area, with an expert knowledge of the 'decent' pubs to go in, I figured I'd be a fool not to come back here, cap in hand, and beg for drinking buddies to show me the sights and sounds of Derby.

I should have got my arse in gear and posted something sooner... looks like we were all in the same bar before the Manchester gig!

I'm guessing there'll be socialising before the Leeds gig too??!?

i'll be at derby on friday night as well. not sure what i'm doing before as i may go to the gig early. if not, i'll be drinking in seymours.

you're quite welcome to come along to our (completely unofficial) 'after-show party' (as is everyone else) which will, no doubt, be at the bless.
